Scotdesco are offering a two day Language and Cultural Experience which will engage up to 20 children in Wirangu Language used in the bush context. Activities run by a team of adult language learners and cultural instructors. The camp is fully catered for by the Scotdesco Expresso cafe and 4 man tents are provided for the students and staff.
Activities will include:-
  • Collecting / identifing shellfish
  • Fire making
  • Fishing
  • Cooking Wombat
  • Damper making
  • Cooking Kangaroo tail
  • Bush food collecting
  • Historical sites and story telling
  • Hunting techniques
  • Camp fire wirangu language activities and games
  • Making camp
